My sister’s husband’s parents were older when they had him… The doctors said she was barren because she had tried since they got married at 16….
By the time she hit 40 they gave up, she turned 50 they were looking into adoption, they adopted when she was 52….
But at 53, she got pregnant naturally (didn’t know until she was 6-7 months along – thought it was menopause) and had him at 54…..
He’s 37 almost 38, she’s now 93 – both parents are still alive and living well and healthy and enjoy all there grandchildren now….. So they’ve had a really good outcome to having a child at a later age…..
